Carter’s Vineyards is run by a small team of people, headed by Ben Bunting, who share an enthusiasm for the vineyard and are committed to producing wines of the highest standard.
At Carter’s Vineyards we offer a highly personalised service to
our customers and visitors and are proud of the reputation we have built up.
Carter’s Vineyards was originally established by Mary Mudd and are now owned by Bunting & Sons. Mary’s connection with the vineyard continues working alongside Ben and the team making wine.
Bunting & Sons is one of Colchester’s oldest businesses, established in 1820. The firm is a family business which bridges seven generations of the Bunting family.
